Collection Concept
Our main goal for this collection was to create a story based entirely within a public bus stop. Taking the bus routinely, especially when you’re on the way to work/school, you end up taking it with the
same couple people every day. You only get to see a small slice of their life, but in those fifteen minutes or so you learn a lot about each of them. These characters don’t have names or faces, but their personalities are apparent in each and every one of them. We intended for there to be a narrative involved with this story, but not one that was really apparent, and much more subtle, something that you might catch only in passing while you’re on your way to work. Over the course of a year, a lot can change for some people and for others a lot can stay the same, and this dynamic was one that we wanted to explore in this collection.
